The milestone covers skeleton projects without Doctrine and simple Symfony Console apps. Its built-in HTTP server reaches 15k RPS in single-worker mode. The project remains experimental, with major compatibility gaps and no production recommendation.

After another month of compiler development, Manticore can compile Symfony applications. Manticore is an ahead-of-time compiler for PHP 8.5+, written in PHP and built around an LLVM backend. It can compile itself without a PHP interpreter or another programming language.

Current Symfony support covers a Symfony skeleton without Doctrine, whose support is still in progress. Simple Symfony Console applications are supported as well. The built-in HTTP server reaches 15k RPS in single-worker mode. A small application served without a framework can reach about 70-80k RPS.

The milestone adds WebSocket server and client support. Native data structures include vec, map, set and Int8/16/32/64Array. Compilation time and memory use have improved for large applications. A large part of the standard library is covered, including OpenSSL and bcmath, with performance improvements. Math operator overloading and function overloading are also supported.

Manticore remains highly experimental. It contains many bugs and inconsistencies compared with the regular PHP interpreter, and the project does not recommend it for production or other critical environments. The next milestone targets final PDO drivers for MySQL/PostgreSQL and the start of Laravel compilation.
