Laravel 14 targets early 2027 with PHP 8.4 as its baseline
Laravel’s next major version is planned for Q1 2027, although the project has not set a release date. Development already includes API changes such as routing support for the HTTP QUERY method. Laravel 14 will require PHP 8.4 or newer. The project plans bug-fix support through Q3 2028 and security fixes through Q1 2029.
