Homebrew 7.0.0 Adds Native macOS App and Built-In Vulnerability Scanning
Homebrew 7.0.0 ships faster installs and upgrades, tighter sandboxing, a native macOS app, and built-in vulnerability scanning backed by a new advisory database. The package manager now requires macOS 11 or newer, drops support for macOS 10.15, and downgrades Intel Macs and Sonoma 14 to Tier 3. The ghcr.io/homebrew/ubuntu22.04 Docker image is retired in favor of ghcr.io/homebrew/brew.
