FrankenPHP 1.12.7 was released on 07 Aug by dunglas. The GitHub release view records 43 commits to main. In classic, non-worker mode, output written after fastcgi_finish_request() or frankenphp_finish_request() could disappear. With the default ignore_user_abort setting, the write made the connection appear aborted and stopped the script. Pull request #2569 fixes issue #2548.
The frankenphp_total_threads metric now reports a current thread count as a gauge. Its previous accumulating behavior could grow without bound. Pull request #2550 fixes issue #2481. FrankenPHP also removes the opcache-invalidation restart hook again because repeated cache resets could trigger recursive restarts in frameworks that invalidate Opcache heavily. That change is tracked in pull request #2564.
Routine write and flush errors caused by client disconnects now use debug logging. This follows the convention used by Caddy and Mercure, and removes the incorrect “not a flasher” classification. The go.sh build script now reads the PHP_CONFIG environment variable. Documentation also explains why the wait after a post-force-kill reboot must remain unbounded.
